Tournament Regulations (Please read thoroughly before participating, as changes may occur)

● The rules for each tournament and the specific arrangements for this tournament shall apply.

Tournament officials (executive committee members and marshals), doctors, or nurses, and Red Cross emergency personnel have the authority to stop the competition if they determine (diagnose) that it cannot continue.

● Tournament officials may stop the competition if a participant significantly disrupts the event by disregarding rules, manners, or strict warnings.
(For example, failure to line up in the designated area before the start, violations of traffic laws, breaches of etiquette, unauthorized entry during the event, or any other improper or dangerous actions.)

● Tournament officials may stop the competition for participants they believe cannot pass a checkpoint within the designated time, even if they are still within the time limit.

● Rescue vehicles will prioritize those who need medical assistance, and those who have fallen behind will only be accommodated if space allows.

● In emergencies, emergency vehicles will always be given priority.
Participants are asked to be careful not to obstruct the passage of emergency vehicles.

[Regarding Costumes]

Costumes are allowed as long as they do not cause discomfort or danger to other participants or supporters. Please refrain from wearing costumes that are inappropriate for a sporting event. Running while pushing a stroller or with a pet is not permitted. Please note that if the organizer determines that there is a risk of danger on the day of the event, they may instruct participants to stop competing.

[Personal Information]

The organizer will strictly comply with laws regarding the protection of personal information and will use applicants' personal information only for tasks related to the management of the tournament, sending application forms and inquiries, and providing information about future tournaments, related events, travel, merchandise, and recruitment of staff.

[Precautions]

1. Participants are not allowed to wear or display any advertisements such as company names or product names at the tournament venue or on the course.
2. The organizer will provide first aid for accidents during the competition but will not be held responsible beyond that.
   ※ Although the organizer provides injury insurance, hospitalization for conditions such as internal diseases is not covered by the insurance. Compensation for accidents during the competition is limited to the coverage provided by the insurance.
3. Visually impaired participants must be accompanied by a guide runner and must participate and withdraw together.
   (Participation may not be allowed depending on the difficulty and danger of the course. There may also be instructions to stop after the start.)
4. Measurement will be conducted using either the "tag" method, the "touch" method, or "visual confirmation."
   If using the tag method, please note that time measurement cannot be done without wearing the tag. The tag will be collected after you finish and receive your completion certificate. If you withdraw from the competition, please return the tag at each checkpoint or aid station collection box. If you forget to return it on the day of the event, please mail it or return it directly to the office after the event. Please note that the actual cost will be charged if the tag is lost.
5. Participants are responsible for their valuables and personal belongings; the organizer will not be held liable.
   The organizer is also not responsible for accidents or theft in the parking lot.

[Important Information Regarding Applications]

1. Duplicate applications by the same person will result in disqualification.
   If multiple applications by the same person are found, the application will be disqualified, and no refund will be issued.
2. False reporting of age, gender, records, or participation by someone other than the applicant (unauthorized participation) is not permitted.
   If individual or group unauthorized participation is discovered, not only will the participation be canceled, but future applications to this tournament will also be prohibited.
3. After applying, changes to registration details, changes in the number of participants for relay groups, and cancellations are not allowed. Participation fees are non-refundable.
   However, participant changes may be allowed only if approved by the secretariat. If there are any issues with the registration details, the secretariat may contact you via the email address or phone number provided.
4. Please note that application status inquiries or confirmations over the phone are not possible.
5. If you need to cancel your application within the application period, please do so directly by email or phone to the secretariat.
6. If there are changes to your application details (group entries, etc.), please contact the secretariat directly.
   ※ If the number of applicants does not reach the quota after the application period ends, a second round of recruitment will be conducted. Additional recruitment may be announced.
7. Substitute participation and transfer of rights are not allowed.
   If such acts are discovered, the participant will be disqualified, and the organizer will not provide any compensation or refunds.
8. The organizer is not responsible for delays caused by postal issues or internet device or connection failures.
9. In the case of internet applications, there may be instances where your device, operating system, or browser software does not support the application.

[Application and Participation Rules]

1. If old kanji characters are used in names, they may be converted to new characters.
2. To clarify personal responsibility during the tournament, only those who agree to the pledge and sign the application form may participate.
3. There may be instances where the requested T-shirt size cannot be provided.
   If no T-shirt size is indicated at the time of application, women will receive size S, and men will receive size M.
   Please note that changes to the size cannot be made after application or on the day of the participant's registration.

[Participation Eligibility]

Healthy individuals, regardless of nationality.
Minors require parental consent.
Only those who have been officially recognized as entrants in this tournament are eligible to participate (no proxy participation).

Tournament Pledge

1. Obligation to Adhere to Regulations and Personal Responsibility

   I have thoroughly reviewed the tournament guidelines set by the organizer and agree to comply with all regulations, rules, and instructions related to the tournament. Additionally, I will participate in the tournament under my responsibility, with sufficient consideration for my health and safety. I pledge to immediately stop competing if I experience any abnormalities in my physical condition during the competition.

2. Confirmation of Participation Suitability

   I am currently in good health and do not anticipate any issues that would prevent me from participating in the tournament.
   I can confirm that within one year prior to the tournament date, a health checkup by a physician has confirmed my health status. If there are any issues such as hypersensitivity, allergies, or pre-existing conditions that require advance understanding by the tournament medical team for emergency treatment, I will notify the organizer in writing beforehand. Similarly, if there are any special medical conditions or concerns due to religious or other reasons, I will submit a written notification. If requested by the organizer, I will promptly submit a medical certificate or proof of stress test results.

3. Understanding the Characteristics of the Competition

   I understand that the tournament is held in a rapidly changing natural environment and that competitors' physical conditions may change suddenly.
   I also understand that since the course is set in mountainous areas away from public roads, there is a high possibility that rescue and response efforts may be hindered in an emergency. Due to my physical limitations, I will be accompanied by an attendant for safety, and I will comply with the organizer's decision if they determine that participation is not possible.

4. Obligation to Adhere to Recommendations to Stop the Competition and First Aid

   If the organizer determines that continuing the competition is problematic, I will unconditionally accept the recommendation to stop competing.
   I also agree to allow doctors, the organizer, or related parties to provide first aid if I encounter an accident, injury, or illness during the tournament. I will not object to the methods and results of such first aid.

5. Exemption from Liability for Force Majeure

   I pledge not to hold the organizer responsible for poor competition conditions or the inability to ensure safety due to weather deterioration, emergency declarations due to infectious disease outbreaks, on-the-day traffic conditions, or other circumstances beyond the organizer's control.
   I also pledge not to hold the organizer responsible for any changes to the course or competition content due to the nature of the event, which takes place in a natural environment, or due to landowner convenience, sudden disasters, accidents, construction, events, or other circumstances beyond the organizer's control.
   I will not claim any payment for participation fees or expenses incurred to participate in the tournament in these cases.
   I also agree that, regardless of the organizer's responsibility, the course may be shortened or changed due to the condition of the course, which is not on normal traffic roads. Additionally, I will not seek any compensation or reimbursement for expenses incurred to participate in the tournament in the event of equipment loss or damage affecting the competition or competition records.

6. Consent for the Use of Personal Likeness and Information for Publicity and Commercial Purposes

   I agree to participate in the tournament with the understanding that my likeness, name, address, age, and competition history may be used in all tournament-related publicity and reporting, as well as in various information media.
   I also consent to the commercial use of printed materials, videos, and information media produced by the organizer and related organizations.

7. Exemption from Liability for Injuries and Fatal Accidents

   If I am injured, develop any aftereffects, or die during the competition or related events, I pledge not to hold responsible the tournament executive committee, security personnel, volunteers, tournament staff, sponsors, officials, landowners, or any other related parties, including the country, prefecture, or city hosting the event.
